I love my induction stove. This mat does a very good job of protecting it from scratches and spills. It does not interfere with the operation of my stove at all. It is easy to clean and, made of fiberglass and silicon, it is strong.

From a functional standpoint, this induction cooktop mat works wonderfully. At first I was a little bit worried, because it was slightly wider than my actual range (a Frigidaire Gallery 30″), but this turned out to actually be a positive, as it covered the small gaps between the range and the surrounding counterspace. In terms of actually protecting the cooktop, it does exactly what it says it will do. It’s much easier to clean spills, crumbs, and food debris off of, and it does successfully act as a cutting surface if you wanted to chop something (though, to be honest, I just tested this once and don’t plan to do so again, since I have a cutting board right next to the stove).
